Enjoy a spacious and classic country house with pool, high ceilings, playful frescoes, comfortable sitting rooms, 5 gracious bedrooms sleeping up to 12, plus the possibility of a separate cottage to sleep an additional 4 (this may also be rented separately, but will then not have access to the Villa's grounds or pool).
The Villa is set at the end of a tree-lined avenue, in the midst of a green and shady park. A few metres from the house in a protected nook is the private pool, perfect for a lazy day in the sun, or after a day of discovery of this art-rich area. Inside the house are beautiful terracotta floors, a large kitchen with all modern conveniences plus a fireplace for indoor grilling, 2 dining rooms with fireplaces, 2 sitting rooms, a study, 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. This large gracious Villa is perfect for large, extended families, family reunions, a group of friends or even a small wedding. There are 4 double bedrooms in the house, three of which can be made as a large bed or as twins. The dormitory is great for kids, and can take three or four. With the farmhouse extension, that can be rented independently, we can accommodate up to 15 people

The Marche / Abruzzo region

Urbania's Region is Le Marche and its Province is Urbino-Pasaro. It is bordered by both Tuscany and Umbria, and is noted for precious Truffles, Cherries and Cheeses, Wine, Olive Oil, Ceramics, and the seaside resorts of the Adriatic Sea. For nature lovers, the Green hills offer splendid hiking, biking, and walking. You can enjoy day trips to world famous towns of Umbria like Gubbio and Todi.

Urbania area

Ca Mangano is set amidst breathtakingly verdant hills and valleys, 2km from the charming and historic town of Urbania and 15 km from the larger and equally beautiful Renaissance town of Urbino, home to the famed artist, Raphael. You can visit his home, as well as the National Museum of the Ducale Palace with some of the World's great Renaissance Masterpieces, including works by Titian, Raphael, and Uccello.The nearby town of Urbania offers many restaurants, bars and cafes, in addition to the Teatro Bramante, and the Ducale Palace Museum.

How to get there

The nearest airport is Ancona. RyanAir flies there from Stanstead. If you are flying internationally into Rome, the best way to get here is to rent a car and drive the three hours. However if you can fly directly to Bologna that is the closer airport.The closest train stations to Urbania are in Pesaro and Fano on the Adriatic coast. From the stations, there's bus service to Urbania. There are four buses a day (except Sundays and holidays) from Rome-Tiburtina station to Urbino. From Urbino, there is good bus service to Urbania and many of the small towns nearby. The closest airports are Rimini and Ancona. (see Italy airports map)

Urbania itself is small and is easily explored on foot. Around the perimeter of the town there is plenty of parking.
