Property Description
This is a family run business providing luxury catered accommodation in the beautiful village of Madjare.
Madjare is located in the foothills of the stunning Rila Mountains of Bulgaria. The Rila Mountains being the highest mountain range on the Balkan Peninsular. Our lodge commands stunning views of the mountains, rivers and valleys. Quite and peaceful but still only 70km from Sofia and only 20 minutes drive from the international ski resort of Borovets.
If you love the outdoors, whatever the season, our beautiful lodge is the perfect base for your winter or summer holidays.
We aim to provide you with a relaxing, stress free holiday by taking care of you from the minute you land in Sofia, providing you with everything you require for a perfect revitalising holiday in the mountains.
Our accommodation is spacious but homely and we will provide you with delicious home cooked food.
We cater for groups, families, couples or those of you who just want to get away from it all. Whatever your reason for visiting Bulgaria we are confident we can provide you with a memorable stay.
Living Area:
Rila View Lodge is an 8-bedroomed purpose built accommodation with 6 of the bedrooms having an en-suite shower room. The remaining 2-bedrooms share the 7th shower room. There is a very large lounge/dining room with a lovely log fire, satellite TV, DVD and
Kitchen Facilities:
The lodge contains a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals for our guests but this is for use by the owners only. There are tea/coffee making facilities with a sink in the second floor lounge area.
Outside:
The lodge is a detacted building set in it's own gardens. There is a bar-b-que area for entertaining our summer guests and the lodge has it's own small vegetable plot where we grow our own organic produce.

The weekend was enjoyed by all and the accommodation and hosting was top notch.
Overall the accommodation was of a high standard. We all found it warm
