Property Description

Large comfortable house for up to 27 people. Located on the edge of Bayerisch Eisenstein on the German/Czech border. Only 2 hours by car from Munich and Prague. Less than 10 minutes to the FIS World Cup ski runs of Grosser Arber (regarded as the most modern ski resort in Germany). Cable car, 2 six seater chair lifts, ski pulls, ski schools and snowboard rail park. 15 minutes to the Bavarian Forests largest cross country ski centre.

All rooms are comfortably furnished with en-suite shower and WC, TV, DVD player, hairdryer & tea and coffee making facilities.

Living Area:

There is a large guest lounge/ dining room with open fire, a library of games and toys, DVDs, books, guide books, local maps etc. Wifi internet access available free of charge.

Kitchen Facilities:

Large commercial style kitchen with coffee maker, dishwasher, fridge, ice maker, 6 ring stove and oven, slicer and microwave. Breakfast supplies for the 1st morning of stay can be arranged at 6.50 Euro per person Half board can be arranged at a village restaurant if required at 14.00 Euro per person

Outside:

Situated in a quiet area of the village about 5 minutes to the centre, with its restaurants, railway station, tourist info, shops, church etc. There is a large parking area at front of house can accommodate about 10 cars, plus there is ample free on the road outside the guesthouse. The guesthouse house has lovely views across the village and to the Forested mountains beyond.

Prices per week are for the 10 internal en-suite bedrooms (accommodating a maximum of 23 people), lounge/dining room, kitchen (commercial in style) and FREE WiFi access. The price includes all bed linen and towels (changed weekly), an initial basket of firewood, all power, final cleaning, tourist tax and Vat and free local public transport (Bayerwald-ticket.com). Up to 3 en-suite bedrooms, externally accessed via the garden terrace (accommodating an additional 8 people): 280.00 Euro per room, per week

breakfast supplies for 1st morning - 6.50 Euros per person

Half baord at a local restaurant ( 3 courses all drinls extra) - 14.00Euros per person per meal.

Additional firewood 3 Euros per basket.

Clathes washing/drying: 6 Euros per load, Free use of ironing board and iron.

Bookings are laible for any damages that arise. These MUST be paid for before departure.

Other Information

The guesthouse is about 7 km from the Arber ski resort, (the most modern in Germany) with 6 lifts including a 6 seater gondola, a range of ski runs for all abilities, ski schools, rail park and more. The skiing on the Arber is regarded as some of the most reliable in Germany. The season lasts from mid December to mid April. Ski bus tickets are available from the Guesthouse. The Czech ski resort of Spicak is just over border, about 3 km away. Spicak is accessible by train. Cross country ski routes start less than 300m from the guesthouse. Ski equipment hire and lessons can be booked at the ski shops in the village, about 10 minutes walk from the guesthouse.
