Chalet is set amongst a small group of individual chalets away from the hustle and bustle of the main village. It is set in an idyllic situation with a babbling stream at the foot of the garden and 180 degrees of spectacular mountain scenery - unspoilt by tourism, below us there is a small farm where you can by home made alpine cheese and butter. There is parking below the chalet, when there is no swnow, or parking at our garage if there is - at about 5-10 minutes walk

Living Area:

Sunny south facing living/dining room with doors onto balcony, 2 sofas, easy chair, table and chairs to seat 8. Modern wood burner, Satellite TV, DVD player, books,games. Bedrooms are split over two floors with double and 2 singles on main level and outside stairs up to 2 rooms with 2x2 single beds(2 can be pushed together to form double). Each floor has own bathroom , one with shower bath and one with shower, all new December 2007. Chalet is perfect for 2 families or 2 groups sharing but with privacy. Upstairs has kettle,toaster,tv with video.

Kitchen Facilities:

Modern kitchen with dishwasher, larder fridge, oven, 3 ring hob, coffee making facilities, kettle, toaster and combi-microwave. Both bathrooms are new and modern. The chalet has electric heating which has a central programmer.

Outside:

Detached south facing chalet with garden running down to stream. Balcony, terrace with BBQ. Cellar with washing machine, freezer and tumble dryer

Suitability

This is great for fit and active families and groups who do not want to be in the middle of a resort and who expect to walk up and down hills - it is in Switzerland after all. This is for those who like to ski, snowboard, walk but who like to come back to a home which is set in a beautiful position in tranquility with breathtaking views. There is a superb Gasthaus/bar at about 10 minutes walk down in Goldern for those who like to go out on an evening.

Local Activities

Obviously, skiing, snowboarding, langlaufen, also walking, sledging, paragliding, cycling, swimmiming, ice skating, climbing, fishing the activities are there for most interests - even Sherlock Holme enthusiasts - this holiday can be as busy or as restful as you make it
