Property Description

Welcome to Chalet Cristal, a luxury fully catered chalet run by the owners Susan and Kevin. Traditional wood chalet renovated 2007 to combine modern comforts and facilities.

Set in a seccluded garden with a large Hot Tub.4 bedrooms,( 2 en-suite bedrooms and 1 bathroom for the remaining 2 bedrooms).

They are designed for comfort and relaxation, cotton bedding, soft duvets, luxurious towels, bath robes, hair dryers.

Our guests can expect comfort, style and quality We have a spacious open plan living area for dining and relaxing, here you will find leather sofas, soft lighting and a wood burning stove. Satellite Home cinema TV, DVD, play station, books, games, CDs, and DVDs There are 2 sets of French windows on to a spacious balcony, where you can sit and enjoy a sunny day ,for none skiing days it’s a comfortable home to relax in.

Local Activities

THE SKIING
The Grand Massif ski domain is 3min to the lifts, and The Portes du Soleil. which is accessed at Les Gets, a 15 min drive .
The GRAND MASSIF SKI AREA connects five resorts and SAMOENS and MORILLON are part of this awesome 265kms of pistes; one of the largest linked winter-sports areas in the alps, boasting a good snow record due to it's geographical position. The area caterers for all abilities, 15 green, 53 blue, 51 red, 14 black runs, and 5 snow parks, great for boarders, a mix of tree lined and wide open pistes.

The area includes Flaine, it’s a snow sure ski bowl surrounded by mountains, superb skiing at over 2000meters. Les Cascades, is a 14km blue run from the top of Flaine to the village Sixt Fer Cheval., a small undiscovered gem of a ski resort

Catering
Come down in the morning to a hearty cooked breakfast, then take the ski bus at the top of the road to the nearest lift at Morillon, 3min away, or Samoens 5 min.
After a days skiing return to a nice clean chalet and a roaring fire and relax and enjoy tea and home made cakes, then maybe into the hot tub with a glass of something and relax let the jets sooth the muscles, and spot the ski runs for the next days adventure.
We serve canapés and an aperitif before dinner, which is 3 courses of good generous home cooked food, done with style and served with a decent wine.
