Property Description

New chalet for this season in a pleasant wooded area just 3 minutes walk from the Gondola lift station. Great location with shops, pubs and restaurants all nearby.

The two storey wooden chalet has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6 people, with 1 double bed and two sets of twin beds.

The very attractive scandanavian design includes a separate sauna, shower, toilets upstairs and downstairs, large living room and kitchen with cooking facilities. Bedding, towels and blankets are provided, along with cleaning.

The chalet is very warm and comfortable, well laid out with a large downstairs veranda.

Living Area:

TV and Video, radio. Sofa and chairs.

Kitchen Facilities:

Cooker, sink, kettle and toaster. Table and 6 chairs.

Local Activities

Borovets has 1 Gondola lift, 4 chair lifts, 9 drag lifts, plus several baby drags. It has excellent English-speaking ski schools and 40 km of marked ski runs. It also has a purpose built 1,240 meters snowboarding track, a 10 km cross-country track and a ski jump. Its runs are ideal for beginners and intermediate skiers. It also boasts a World Cup competition run, for more advanced skiers. The resort also has 14 snow cannons for artificial snow to guarantee the snow cover if needed. Floodlit skiing is also available at night from 5pm to 10pm, as is heli-skiing.

Other Information

The resort is currently undergoing a 400 million euro expansion as part of the ‘Super Borovets’ projects, which will be implemented in three stages. The first is well underway and involves building new high quality accommodation and facilities to double the capacity of the existing resort, including new spas, gyms and swimming pools. It will be competed in 2007. The second stage envisages new hotels and ski runs in the triangle enclosing Beli Iskar, Samokov and Borovets. The third stage will involve the construction of a new luxury 5 star resort at 1,400 m above sea level. Extensive new lifts, ski runs and other infrastructure will be developed, linking the three areas together.
