Chalet Edelweiss is a stunning, luxury three bedroom 2 bathroom (ideal for 6 to 9 people) chalet situated in the Alpine village of Stadl an der Mur, 10 minutes drive from the ski resort of Kreischberg in the Styrian region of Austria.
This holiday rental chalet is a one and a half hour drive from Salzburg airport or 60 minutes from Klagenfurt airport, 1 hour 45 minutes from Graz Airport, 2 hours 25 minutes from Vienna airport or 3 hours from Munich airport.
It is a 10/15 minute walk to the shops, Hotels and restaurants in the village centre but benefits from fantastic views and a tranquil Austrian Alp setting. This rental accommodation has all mod cons, and is ideally situated for activity holidays such as skiing, snowboarding and all Alpine winter sports. The chalet is situated in a small development of luxury chalets.
The village of Stadl an der Mur is a traditional Austrian community of 1100 inhabitants who all know each other and are extremely friendly towards visitors. It is a beautiful location but if you are looking for nightlife and loud bars, this is not Kitzbuhel, Mayerhoffen or Chamonix and probably not for you. If you are looking for a peaceful environment, uncrowded ski slopes, traditional Austrian hospitality (and fantastic local cuisine) and family fun, then this is for you!
