Property Description

Chalet Heidi provides Catered Chalet accommodation for up to 27 guests. Scheffau provides twin gondola access into SkiWelt, Austria's largest linked Ski Resort, with 250km of piste. Chalet Heidi, with its own bar, Guests' lounge and kitchen, Games/TV room, and fitness room, and Sauna provides 3/4 board including: Breakfast, Afternoon tea and cakes and a sumptuous 5 course evening meal. Being a small family business we are able to offer competitively priced skiing and boarding holidays, with an attention to detail, that only owner run and occupied ski chalets can achieve.

Living Area:

Chalet Heidi has it's own bar and dining room, guests' lounge and kitchen, fitness room and sauna, heated boot racks and ski storage room, and hopefully a hot tub for winter 2008/9!

Kitchen Facilities:

The guests' kitchen is available all day & guests can make tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Afternoon tea and cakes are served there.

Outside:

Chalet Heidi has a large garden and sun terrace which looks over towards the Ski Welt ski area. With outside seating, sun loungers and hopefully a new hot tub, it is the perfect place to relax on a warm day after skiing.

We both agreed it was one of the best, if not the best skiing holiday we have ever had, and we've had lots of them even if it doesn't always show in our skiing!

We loved Chalet Heidi. Our room was very comfortable and had a wonderful veiw. It was lovely to have so many choices of rooms to spend time in during the evening, and all non-smoking. Brilliant! We really felt it made for a very relaxing stay for our extended family with ages ranging from 5 to 69. The food was delicious and I very much appreciated your willingness to cater for my special dietary needs. Coming home to freshly baked cakes in the guests' kitchen and being able to sit down and enjoy them with a hot drink was great too. The warmth of your welcome and the relaxed ambience in the chalet meant that I felt we all started to unwind and enjoy our holiday right from the first day, something I don't often do.

Hi Mike and Caroline

I cannot believe that it was only last Sunday when we left Austria. It now seems like a lifetime ago.

I would just like to write and thank you all, yourselves and Tom and Hugo for a fantastic week. It was definitely the best skiing holiday we have ever had and it wasn’t just down to the weather. The food was delicious and the company entertaining. Everyone was very helpful.
