Property Description

Le Grenier is 15 metres from the main Farmhouse. It has a double & single bed, fully equipped kitchen, shower room, TV, DVD, external balcony

Living Area:

This 37 m2 Studio apartment is above the nearby garage and offers a secluded and very comfortable setting for upto 3 people. Fully equipped with double & single bed, fully equipped kitchen and shower-room, TV, video, DVD & CD player; this setting is ideal for a little privacy. A large comfy settee, electric radiators and an gas fired pot boiler help you to you feel at home. Two large picture windows allow fantastic views across the valley to the Alps.

Kitchen Facilities:

There is a fully equipped kitchen, with hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge & plenty of pots and pans for those who want to self cater. Many people, who want a real break, choose for Ann and our resident chef to cater for them.

Outside:

The external balcony is south west facing and affords fantastic views across the flat valley bottom to the Alps and the setting sun.

Suitability

Vallon d’en haut and Vallon d’en bas form Les Vallons, a traditional farming hamlet, 5 minutes drive & 15 minutes walk from the centre of Samoëns. In winter we are part of the 256 kms of pisted skiing and lots of off piste that makes up Le Grand Massif. In summer we are ideally located as a base for short, day or longer alpine walks.

Le Grenier is just one of the accommodation areas at La vieille Ferme and is priced per person. The rest is detailed below:

The Farmhouse Apartment's (first floor is 55 sq ms including a large living & dining area, a modern and fully equipped kitchen, a shower/laundry/drying room and under floor heating. SKY TV, DVD, CD players, Playstation are all available along with a selection of DVDs, books and games. TVs in the 2 main bedrooms. The décor and furnishings are of a very high standard.

The Loft Appt. is open & spacious offering accommodation for up to 9 but it is ideal for 5/6. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 loos, a fantastic view across the valley and also down into the main entrance hall of the Farmhouse. Very different and ideal for more communal living for families and groups. Fully equipped kitchen if catering is not required.

In addition there are 2 beautiful rooms in the main Farmhouse which are available throughout the year as either Chambre d'Hote for individuals /couples or as part of a booking for larger groups.
