In winter you can partake in many different activities such as skiing, snowboarding and many others.
A new express lift links Les Arcs and La Plagne to form an extensive ski area, one of the biggest in Europe.
During the summer there are a wonderful range of activities on offer in the area including walking, mountain biking, paragliding, rafting and golf.
There are more than 500km of marked routes.

Other Information

There are a number of transport options including train to Bourg-St-Maurice (change at Paris). The funicular railway adjacent to the train station takes you to Arc 1600 in less than 10 minutes followed by a short courtesy bus ride to Arc 1950. The nearest airports are Chambery(1 hour), Geneva(2 hours), Lyon(2 1/2hours) and Grenoble(2 hours).
