Property Description

Lovely studio flat (20sqm) in a suburb location - literally a few steps from the centre of town, bars, cafes, restaurants, supermarket, shops, tourist office, post office etc. Just 1-2 minutes walk to the ski bus stop - the ski bus is an excellent, very frequent and free service which runs all day to and from all the ski areas in the Chamonix Valley. The location of this property is the most important aspect - it is absolutely the best place to be!

Living/sleeping area has laminated floor and modern pine furniture including 'butterfly' dining set, CD radio, stunning Mont Blanc views from large picture window.

Kitchen Facilities:

'Coin-cuisine' (kitchenette) fully equipped for 4 people self catering, double electric hob, kettle, grill-microwave, vacuum cleaner, all necessary saucepans, utensils, crockery, cutlery etc.

We are keen to accept long lets (maximum of 2 people occupancy) - we are willing to offer very good rates for bookings of 2 months plus. We offer 50 euros discount off these prices for early booking (3 months ahead) and even more off if you are booking further ahead than that.

Local Activities

Skiing and all manner of mountain/adrenaline sports - summer and winter
The nursery slope of Le Savoy is just 5 mins walk and when there is snow at the bottom, it's possible to ski almost to the back door. Also, the superb ski area of Brevent-Flegere can be accessed via the beginner's lift at the bottom of le Savoy - this makes very easy access to one of Chamonix's best ski areas on foot!!

Other Information

There are so many activities to do in Chamonix in the summer, the list is practically endless: walking, mountain-biking, climbing and paragliding are amongst the most popular. There is also a large public sports centre with Olympic sized indoor pool, ice-rink (home to the famous Chamonix Huskies) and a good tennis club.
