Property Description

Mount View apartment is on the top floor of a 3-storey building finished to the highest luxury standards. Facing south with views to the magnificent Pirin mountain range. Bansko is Bulgaria's most rapidly developing ski resort. It has the most up to date ski facilities in Bulgaria which includes a new gondola and four-chair lifts to carry skiers to the ski area outside the town. The ski area includes 17 pistes,and over 65 kilometres of marked ski runs and cross country tracks that have been extensively cultivated. The resort has a unique, 16 km run which starts from beneath the summit at Todorka Peak the highest point of the ski centre, where you can ski down to the outskirts of town. For snowboarders, as well as the long tree lined runs, the resort has a new fun park with option to ski over artificial bumps and jumps. The new half pipe facility is the only permanent one in the country.

In summer Bansko hosts a week long Jazz festival. Hiking and mountain biking are popular with horse riding near by. Bansko has many cultural monuments and museums. For day trips, Rila Monastery and the Belitsa Dancing Bear Park are popular. There are many mehanas (restaurants) in the town providing excellent cuisine as well as traditional music and dance. It is possible to use the sports and swimming facilities at the local hotels for a small cost. The apartment has its own lockable cellar for storage of skiis or bikes.
